Aaron Coutu
Named Librarian of the Year 2007

At the Rhode Island Library Association's Annual Conference, Aaron Coutu, our Young Adult Librarian was honored with the prestigious Outstanding Librarian Award for Service to the community and the profession.
Mr. Coutu has been employed by the Greenville Public Library for eight years and received the award for his library services to teens. Aaron was selected by Library Journal in 2004 as a Mover and Shaker (one of 50 such recipients) nation wide. Mr. Coutu serves as chair of the Rhode Island Teen Book Award and is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Library and Information Science. Aaron is also a Trustee of the Jesse M. Smithfield Memorial Library in Burrillville and serves on the Juvenile Hearing Board of Burrillville. Congratulations!
