Adele Karbowski is an artist and teacher with a passion for the creative and healing arts. She has a masters in art education and offers programs throughout New England and regular classes in Burrillville, Greenville, and South County, RI for children and adults. She teaches drawing, painting, printmaking, papermaking, and other mediums in a creative and supportive environment.

“I like to create an atmosphere of exploration and openness so that everyone feels free to create. In my classes students learn techniques and skills and also about sharing materials, respecting other’s art work, and appreciating the natural world around us. It’s so great when I see a child’s face light up when they discover something new and unexpected. Expressing yourself visually is not just about rendering perfectly but  placing ourselves and our feelings on paper. It takes some courage to do this! To be able to express oneself in visual form is so important for every child.”
