The Greenville Public Library: The First Hundred Years 1882-1982 by Kay Kirlin Moore. This singular history of the Greenville Public Library was scanned directly from one of only two copies of this document that exist. The photograph of Kay Kirlin Moore was drawn from the photo archives of the Greenville Public Library.

A note on missing years. The notebook of Oscar Tobey is a bound continuous document. The text flows across pages without interuption. Years without entries are completely unaccounted for. An attempt will be made to unravel this mystery.
